This is another story of pain and nostalgia, where both forces push the artist into the shelter of creation. Lonely, away from the love of wife and children, Osmany Ricardo: painter, photographer, linguist, and cuban exile who took the raft into the deep blue sea to conquer either freedom or death, grabs at what he can and have access to, and creates the symbols that will stitch together the pieces of a story that better be told thru images.
First, photographs of the days gone by. Then, with nothing at hand but cigarrettes butts, a pen, and paper, Osmany gives us "Cronos" a series of paper drawings to convey the wherabouts of a soul that urges to tell a story. 'After much effort, along came acrylic and canvas, and there was light.
